Part number 2A000558 is a hardened steel gear selector fork used in RSV4 and Tuono V4 transmissions. It slides gears along the shafts to engage the selected ratio.
Bent or worn forks are a known cause of missed shifts or gear disengagement. This component is replaced when gearbox inspection shows uneven wear or deformation.
