Within the Caponord 1200 clutch pack, steel plates play a direct role in engagement feel and torque transfer. The Aprilia driving clutch disc 1A004602 is the OEM steel plate used between friction discs to transmit engine output to the gearbox while maintaining correct clutch stack height.
This driving clutch disc is usually replaced during clutch overhauls when heat or wear has affected smooth engagement. Fitting the genuine Aprilia clutch disc helps prevent judder and inconsistent take-up, especially under sustained load.
