On many Aprilia and Derbi engines, valve stability depends on the carrier as much as the valve itself. The Piaggio complete valve carrier assembly 1A003630 supports valve guides and maintains correct alignment within the cylinder head, which is critical for sealing and timing accuracy.
This valve carrier assembly is commonly replaced when guide wear or carrier damage leads to uneven valve seating or compression loss. Supplied as a complete unit, it restores factory geometry and avoids tolerance issues that can occur when individual components are mixed during rebuilds.
