Despite the naming on some listings, washer 006970 is catalogued as a small hardware washer used on GP 800 and SRV 850 model ranges (2007–2013) in control and chassis subassemblies. In these assemblies, hardware stack height is often part of the linkage geometry, so the correct washer thickness prevents side-load and binding.
Treat it as a precision spacing piece rather than generic hardware when it sits in a lever, pivot, or bracket. If a control feels sticky after reassembly, check for a swapped washer position or a missing thin washer that changes the clamp-up distance.
