Electrical housings and starter assemblies on a wide range of Derbi and Aprilia 50 cc platforms rely on the 00000036100 self-locking nut to keep small-thread fasteners secure under vibration. The nylon insert provides additional resistance against loosening in high-frequency areas.
Because these mounts see regular service during starting-system work, many riders replace the Piaggio Self-Locking M6 Nut any time it shows loss of grip. Once the nylon ring fatigues, clamp reliability drops sharply, so a fresh nut ensures proper retention without over-torqueing the bolt.
