Model Description
The Moto Guzzi V7 Stone is the one of the most recent additions to Guzzi’s V7 family of middleweight, retro-style roadsters designed to rival Triumph’s popular Bonneville, and is intended as the most basic and affordable option. As with the other V7s the Stone is based around an updated version of Guzzi’s ‘small-block’, 744cc V-twin held in a traditional, twin shock, tubular steel cradle chassis but in this budget form has cheaper, plain cast wheels in place of the more expensive chrome wire versions, less chrome and fewer nice details. With the sub-50bhp engine and chassis unaltered the riding experience is unchanged, being unintimidating and novice-friendly yet characterful and pleasing at the same time.
