Bleeding quality depends on the valve’s sealing and thread integrity, and AP8133814 is the OEM air bleed valve listed across Aprilia Atlantic ranges and Scarabeo front caliper applications (coverage shown from 2003–2012). It’s the service bleed screw used to vent trapped air during fluid changes and caliper service.
Rounded flats, corroded seats, or damaged threads can cause persistent seepage or false “air in system” symptoms. Use the correct spanner size, clean the seat area before final tightening, and cap the nipple to keep road grit from packing into the bleed passage.
