Valve train and head assemblies that require a 0.4 mm selective shim use CM159801, listed as “Spacer Washer 0,4 mm” across several Piaggio Group applications (including SR MAX 125 and MP3/Nexus/Beverly 125 variants in the catalog range). This is a clearance-setting component, not a general-purpose washer.
Thickness control is the whole point, so avoid mixing unknown shims or reusing deformed pieces. Measure and document the existing stack, keep shims clean and burr-free, and install only in the locations specified for axial play or clearance adjustment.
