Model Description
Revamped and restyled again in 2013, the big, air-cooled, retro-styled, four-cylinder roadster is one of motorcycling’s great survivors and still represents a charming (if burly and heavy) take on ‘old school’ style motorcycling. The 1251cc motor may be old but is fabulously smooth and torquey; the chassis is predictable, engaging and comfortable (and reasonably versatile) for two and the handsome styling is about as classic, early ‘80s ‘UJM’ (for Universal Japanese Motorcycle, as big roadster fours of the era were dubbed) as it gets. They’re durable and decent value, too.
