Model Description
Despite a brief flirtation with open class two-stroke motocrossers from 400 to 500cc between 1978 and 1985 the firm didn’t take the class seriously again until it introduced the liquid-cooled, four-stroke RM-Z450, as a bigger brother to its RM-Z250, in 2005. With an all-new engine design, twin beam aluminium frame it won the world championship in 2007 and has remained at the forefront of Japanese offerings ever since.
