Model Description
Old-school powerhouse sports-tourer built between 1987 and 1994 as a rival for Yamaha’s class-leading FJ1200 was based around a detuned, oil-cooled GSX-R1100 engine and was ballistically potent in a straight line. Unfortunately, an overlong chassis combined with a then fashion victim 16-inch front wheel meant its handling was less reassuring through the corners. Add-on oddball styling and a then gimmicky electric screen and, though effective, the GSX was never among the best of the breed.
