Model Description
Original, 2002-2008 996cc V-Strom was Suzuki’s popular, budget-priced, more road-orientated offering into the burgeoning adventure bike class and, being a decent performer thanks to its re-tuned TL1000 V-twin plus good value, too, it proved a popular machine until deleted in 2008 due to ever-tightening emissions regulations. Its now fuel-injected, 1037cc, 100bhp successor, introduced in 2014, offers much the same proposition but in a more EU-friendly package: unsparkling but useful, versatile and good value.
