Model Description
KTM showed the rest of the world the way with the launch of this pioneering electric-powered off-roader in 2012. The KTM Freeride E-SX is powered by a water-cooled electric motor producing a maximum of 21bhp and is equipped with the Austrian firm’s familiar and proven top-spec off-road chassis. Two versions are available: motocrosser E-SX and enduro E-XC plus a new supermoto E-SM version was added in 2017. All are easy and great fun – if unusual to ride, but they’re not cheap and battery life can be as low as 30minutes.
