Model Description
Introduced in 1998 and better known as the Deauville, Honda’s unique, middleweight tourer (think of it as a junior Pan European) don’t get much more dreary – or logical and effective. Powered by a 64bhp, shaft drive V-twin in a proper touring rolling chassis complete with touring fairing and built-in panniers, there’s probably no more effective, comfortable and value way of covering big mileages. It’s also unflappable, durable and cheap to run. On the downside, though updated and face-lifted in 2005, it’s also about as exciting and sexy as an Austin Allegro estate, and for the most part bought by similar buyers.
