Model Description
Relatively short-lived big V-twin cruiser that was produced between 1999 and 2006 (when it was replaced by a 1700cc version). As was the fashion by then its styling was inspired more by 1950s fat-tyred cruisers than the ‘70s choppers of earlier models such as the 1100 Virago. As such it was low slung, comfortable and manageable with wire wheels, low, ‘beach’ bars, a low, deeply-padded twin seat and was powered by a low-revving but soft and tractable 1602cc air-cooled, four-valve V-twin. Not many about, but a decent used buy.
