Model Description
Also known as the ‘900 Diversion’, Yamaha’s air-cooled, four-cylinder sports-tourer was launched in 1994 as value-packed all-rounder. And though never the sexiest looking or most dynamically performing machine, thanks to a fairly basic spec and a useful rather than exciting 90bhp, what it lacked in desirability or potency it more than made up for with solid versatility, cheap running costs and impressive durability, too – enough for it to both remain in Yamaha’s line-up for 10 years and command decent used prices, today.
