Model Description
Boldly-styled custom, the Classis 125 has all the right cruiser bits in all the right places – 19/16-inch wire wheels, teardrop tank, pull-back bars, a novice-friendly low seat and lashings of chrome. But as it was produced during the era when the Italian firm concentrated on small capacity two-strokes, is powered by a liquid-cooled two-stroke engine, which though an OK performer, doesn’t fit very well with its American cruiser style. Screaming revs, clouds of two-stroke smoke plus a radiator and an expansion chamber exhaust doesn’t sit very well with images of low revving, US V-twins. Otherwise, it’s a decent bike and, for a 125 cruiser, quite a quick one.
